To Our Very Special Friend, Pilgrim. You were one of a kind. You loved your freedom as you traveled within the barn. But most of all, your kind, soulful eyes, spoke to all that met you. Whether it be a small child, a PTSD veteran, an elderly person in a wheelchair where you placed your head in their lap or to a photographer, afraid of horses, where you placed your head on her shoulder, you always reached out in your quiet, gentle ways. You touched all of our lives. You may be gone Pilgrim, but you will continue to live within each of our hearts.
