Description: Joe is the official morning greeter for the barn. Some of the Joe is the barn’s official morning greeter, welcoming everyone with his enthusiastic presence. Nicknamed “Fabio” by some of our volunteers, he’s known for his beautiful, flowing mane that always seems photo-ready. Full of energy and playful spirit, Joe loves spending time outdoors and enjoys playing a game of “hide the muzzle and halter” in the pasture.

With excellent ground manners, Joe stands calmly on crossties and behaves well for the farrier. He’s a sweet soul with a heart as big as a mountain, always ready to bring a smile to your face. Though Joe is a companion horse and cannot be ridden, he will make a fantastic and loving partner for anyone looking for a four-legged friend.

Joe has worked with trainer Patty Chilson of CC Stables to build trust and essential skills, and he continues to excel, now working on Liberty training with one of our schoolers. He’s thriving and learning every day, preparing for a forever home where he can share his wonderful energy and joy.
