Description:  Clos is one of the classiest horses to ever walk through our barn, and that maybe because he’s named for the Napa Valley Winery. Clos was a big winner on the track and has transitioned well in our training program. He has recently returned to us with no fault of his own. He was diagnosed with aortic valve regurgitation- with moderate ventricular enlargement. His prognosis is good but progression of the aortic valve disease is likely over time but for now the heart disease appears well compensated for. He is on an ace inhibitor at this time.

Because of Clos’ difficulties, he is a permanent resident of Sunshine.
